![]() ![]() The flange can be set to be pretty subtle and very usefull, but think the phase would be more usefull. I've got both the EVH phase90 and the EVH flanger, would recomend getting the phase ahead of the flanger. ![]() with the script on a slower speed can use it as a lead boost without sounding hokey. It's more subtle with the script button, therefore think you'll use it more often. It probably is priced a little too high, but the script button is worth having. Just drop the extra coin on the EVH phase90 and be done with. I got great results out of it with my 5150 II and JSX heads. It does work really well in serial loops though. I ended up moving it to the front end of the amp where it works great. In the loop of my Recto it knocked down the signal level every time it was engaged. The EVH Phase 90 does not like to be used in parallel effects loops. If not just do a search on their website under product reviews.īe forwarned though. There is a review of this pedal in Guitar World, although I don`t remember the issue. You can switch from the softer script mode to the harder and edgier modern mode with the push of a button. More versatile than the old orange pedal, quieter and compared to boutique units the cost isn`t bad. In fact my wife actually bought it for me for Christmas that year. I bought one of the EVH models when they first came out. ![]()
